The much anticipated Shoppes at Vivion Point redevelopment in the Kansas City northland just keeps getting better, and better, and better, and better, and better... Springing into action, Urban Air Northland chose the Shoppes at Vivion Point as their second location in metropolitan Kansas City and is the second tenant to commitment to the $45 million project. Lockard, a Cedar Falls, IA integrated real estate development firm, is in the final stages of purchasing the former Kmart located at 2835 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City, MO. Dustin Whitehead, CCIM, with Lockard and Jared Frost with Point Commercial represented the Buyer.
Financing has been approved by the Kansas City Council for the redevelopment of the former Northland Kmart retail site located at the intersection of Vivion Road and NE Chouteau Drive. Cedar Falls based Lockard, an integrated real estate development company, plans a $45 million dollar retail rehabilitation to the vacated 17.65-acre property.

A national fashion retailer, Ross Dress for Less, who provides high quality department and specialty store brands at extraordinary savings, will be opening in The Bluffs in Pinnacle Prairie. Ross Dress for Less will occupy the final available space, 22,000 square feet, in a power center that includes other national retailers Hobby Lobby, Famous Footwear, Dollar Tree, Home Goods, and Pet Supplies Plus. Property owners, The Bluff Pack LLC., officially broke ground on the retail power center on in April 2016. “It is amazing how quickly the site has come together,” said Jeff Stickfort of The Bluff Pack, LLC. “The interest for the space was immediate.”
National real estate developers, Lockard and Endeavour Corp., are looking to capitalize on the recent success of their Sunset Crossing redevelopment by moving forward with a proposed new outparcel slated for city approval in the coming weeks. Sunset Crossing, a once abandoned K-Mart building located at 120 E. Sunset Drive in Waukesha, WI, was purchased in December 2014 by Lockard. Working with the Endeavour Corp., plans were made to retrofit the 115,857 square foot building with a new tenant lineup.
