Ken started working for his father’s company, Wendell Lockard Construction, at the age of 14.  By the age of 28, Ken took over as president and began to diversify the company.  During his tenure, Ken has grown Lockard into a nationally respected commercial real estate development firm with a focus in the retail and healthcare industries; developing and building these projects as its core business. Headquartered in Cedar Falls, Iowa, Lockard has worked in 29 states and has offices in Dallas, Denver, Orlando, Charlotte, and Whitefish, Montana.

K en and his wife, Amy, have eight children. Yes, EIGHT, who span in age from young adults out in the workforce to elementary age. Ken is an avid reader, fisherman, hunter, skier, aviator, and enjoys motorcycling.
