The YMCA officially broke ground Thursday, December 16, 2016 at their soon to be new location on the corner of Mitchell Boulevard and Moresby Street in the Renaissance Square development in Fort Worth, TX.

The much anticipated housing component at Renaissance Square in the historic Stop Six neighborhood in SE Fort Worth, TX officially broke ground this past September. Officially known as Columbia at Renaissance Square, the development will include three phases of mixed-income housing.
Phase-I, which has already begun, will bring 142 mixed-income apartment units to the neighborhood when completed. Phase-II will have 120 unit senior housing center. The expected start date is scheduled for early 2017. Phase-III will consist of a mixture of approximately 250 single family and townhomes.
“This groundbreaking is an exciting next step in the overall revitalization efforts in our Stop Six neighborhood. Starting first in Renaissance Square, these apartments coming in will not only provide an excellent housing option, but also pair nicely with our city-wide efforts to focus on health, education and engagement,” said Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price.
A national fashion retailer, Ross Dress for Less, who provides high quality department and specialty store brands at extraordinary savings, will be opening in The Bluffs in Pinnacle Prairie.
Ross Dress for Less will occupy the final available space, 22,000 square feet, in a power center that includes other national retailers Hobby Lobby, Famous Footwear, Dollar Tree, Home Goods, and Pet Supplies Plus.
Property owners, The Bluff Pack LLC., officially broke ground on the retail power center on in April 2016. “It is amazing how quickly the site has come together,” said Jeff Stickfort of The Bluff Pack, LLC. “The interest for the space was immediate.”
