A downtown Cedar Falls landmark, the former Rock Island Depot at 422 Main St, has been purchased by a Waterloo financial services firm. Dan Fenci, the operator of ICM Financial Services at 1209 Dundee Ave. in Waterloo, purchased the historic former railroad depot.
Located on the Main Street Parkade, and most recently occupied by Regions Bank, a two phase restoration is in the works with phase one consisting of
an interior restoration and phase two consisting of a small expansion where the previous tenant’s drive-through was located.
Dustin Whitehead, CCIM with Lockard Realty Company, represented the seller, Regions Bank. Chris Fischels with Sulentic-Fischels represented the buyer, Dan Fenci of ICM Financial Services.
