CEDAR FALLS | Lockard Commercial Realty in Cedar Falls has expanded its presence in eastern Iowa by affiliating with a firm with offices in Coralville and Davenport.
Commercial real estate veterans David Gellerman, Waterloo native Jim Tansey and David Weiner, collectively known as The Hawkeye Group, have opened new offices in Davenport and Coralville.
Previously associated with NAI Ruhl Commercial Co., The Hawkeye Group has partnered with Lockard, headquartered in Cedar Falls and Russell, headquartered in the Quad-Cities. The new offices will be known as Lockard Commercial.
The new partnership of The Hawkeye Group at Lockard will offer comprehensive commercial real estate services, according to a Hawkeye Group press release.
“Joining forces with Lockard and Russell provides more support and opportunities to our clients.” said Jim Tansey. In addition to the new Quad-Cities and Iowa City-Coralville and Waterloo-Cedar Falls markets, Lockard has offices in Dubuque, and Des Moines.
“Hawkeye Real Estate Investment Co. is a well-known, respected company and family,” Ken Lockard, CEO of Lockard Companies, said. “We are elated to have partners with their background and character to expand our presence into eastern Iowa and western Illinois.”
David Wilson, president of Lockard Commercial Realty, said Lockard and Hawkeye Group principals have known each other through professional connections “which ultimately developed into this tremendous partnership.”
“This is a great group, good guys. We’re excited to get them on our team,” Wilson said. “It’s a good marriage.”
