Lockard’s Executive Vice President Named Global Leader of CCIM Institute

CCIM Institute announced its 2018 leadership team during the organization’s global conference in Toronto. CCIM Institute confers the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation, commercial real estate’s global standard for professional achievement.

David P. Wilson, executive vice president at Lockard Cos. in Cedar Falls, Iowa, was named President-Elect of the organization and will serve as President of CCIM Institute starting Jan. 1, 2018.

Wilson earned his CCIM designation in 2002 and is one of CCIM Institute’s youngest presidents. Early on, David had risen into leadership positions within the CCIM Iowa Chapter and

transitioned into a wide range of national CCIM committees.

David currently serves on CCIM Institute’s Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and CCIM Foundation Board of Directors. Additionally, he is a graduate of the prestigious Jay W. Levine Leadership Development Academy, which offers a nine-month intensive program through CCIM Institute.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary, CCIM Institute is a global community of 13,000 members, more than 50 chapters, and 30 countries that educates and connects the world’s leading experts in investment strategy, financial analysis, and market analysis. The organization’s leadership teams convene at the CCIM Institute’s spring and fall governance meetings.</p>
