New Tenant Signs to the Shoppes at Vivion Point

The much anticipated Shoppes at Vivion Point redevelopment in the Kansas City northland just keeps getting better, and better, and better, and better, and better…

Springing into action, Urban Air Northland chose the Shoppes at Vivion Point as their second location in metropolitan Kansas City and is the second tenant to commitment to the $45 million project.

Lockard, a Cedar Falls, IA integrated real estate development firm, is in the final stages of purchasing the former Kmart located at 2835 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City, MO. Dustin Whitehead, CCIM, with Lockard and Jared Frost with Point Commercial represented the Buyer.

The Shoppes at Vivion Point is a $45 million, 17.65 –acre retail rehabilitation project. Anchored by national retailer Hobby Lobby, the Shoppes at Vivion Point has been generating excitement among the Kansas City Northland area residents. The addition of Urban Air to the line-up will surely help launch Shoppes at Vivion Point as the place to be for retailers and restaurateurs alike.

Lockard has a strong commitment to serving the communities in every project we undertake” said Dustin Whitehead, CCIM. “Our mission of enhancing the quality of life in the communities we serve is engrained into all facets of our business.”

Working with local officials, Lockard has committed to developing the site to include over 155,000 sf of retail and restaurant space, as well as addressing the current damaging storm water runoff problems. The storm water upgrades are expected to cost upward of $1.7 million dollars.
